Redeeming Waters has hit the half way point with our fundraising for the Kenya project. Anyone have $2500 they have been asking God what they should do with... RWI will take it and put it to good use.
I have finished my taxes and decided that this year will be the year I buy a house. For the first time since I moved to California 6 years ago, the market is at a point where I could actually afford a home in Southern California. So I'm hoping to start the search in the early summer!
UPDATE: So since I posted this post, I am no longer employed. I've spent a lot of time crying today since it came out of nowhere (which is worse than when you see it coming!) I know that my employment is in the Lord's hands, and that there is nothing to worry about since he will see me through this! Right now I am looking for my next editing gig (which I am confident I will be able to find soon!) So if you feel so inclined please pray that I find what I am looking for!

I love your blog..........through a friend I've read it off and on! I see that you are in television. This summer a group of American girls soccer players are going to Uganda to promote health and education through sport. We had a documentary crew ready to come, but for personal reasons they backed out. By all means, if you wouldn't mind, pass our info. to your T.V. friends! We think our project would make a great film. Thanks, and good luck to you! Your son is amazing!

oh sweetheart, I'm so sorry. My dad got laid off too, and he's in post. His entire department is gone, and he was one year from retirement and they don't want to give him his pension.
I'll pray for you. The economy is tough right now, but God will provide!
I just stopped by to catch up on how you are doing. I'm so sorry about the job situation. I just wanted you to know that I'm praying.
Love,
Becky
